Getting Started with Support

App Studio offers a variety of support plans to meet your needs. A Bronze Support Plan is included by default with all App Studio plans and provides access to the Knowledge Base, documentation and forums for instant answers 24x7.

Note that personalized support through tickets and Live Chat is only available with Silver and Gold Support Plans – purchasable separately.

If you purchased a Silver or Gold App Studio Support Plan, your Support Center Account will be setup for you by our team within 48 business hours of your plan purchase. An email will be sent to you containing a password reset link, which you need to click on. Please remember to check your Spam folder in the event you do not receive your email.

IMPORTANT: Your Support Center Account is separate to any existing App Studio accounts you may have created in the App Studio Portal. Those login credentials will not work with the Support Center, you will have to be signed up for Support plan to login.

Getting Started with Support

If you are using our Enterprise Products such as Quark Publishing Platform, Quark Author, Quark Server, please contact your Quark Account Manager for support details.

First 60 day Free Support

If you purchased and registered a supported product, you are eligible for free support for the first 60 days after the date of registration. Your 60-day free support period will start on the day of registration.
  • If you have not registered your product you should register it here first.
  • It can take 2-3 hours for your support account to activate after registering QuarkXPress. Once active, you will be notified via email.

Activation and licensing inquiries for current versions of QuarkXPress (2016, 2015 and 10) are free of charge. All other support queries require a single incident or 6 or 12-month support plan.

How to Register QuarkXPress?

It is very important to get your QuarkXPress license registered not only to obtain the support benefits but also to obtain the validation code and further to activate the license of QuarkXPress.

Your support account will automatically be created if you purchased software from Tele Sales or Customer Service as it is pre-registered on your account. Visit, to contact support.

If you purchased online or from an Authorized re-seller then you would need to go through the registration process below.

For Commercial licenses:

  1. For US / Canada / UK / Europe:
  2. If you already have a Quark Store Account, Logon with your existing username and password.
  3. Otherwise, create a new account by clicking on “Create account” at the top right of webpage and then get the license registered.
    1. Enter a valid QuarkXPress serial number or Your Quark Customer ID, to proceed.
    2. Update the account creation, with appropriate details
    3. Now, select “Product Registration” from the top navigation bar.
    4. Enter your product serial number to be registered.
    5. Click on Register.

 For Educational Licenses:

  1. Navigate to
  2. Purchase Quark discounted products and receives a serial number and instructions to verify at or
  3. You have to proceed to their verification site and input your serial number
  4. Provide your user information (date of birth, user type, and email address) and verification information (name and school information)
  5. Click on verify me and if you are approved via email or enrollment records you will receive an approval email
           a. If not approved via automated methods are asked to upload proof of eligibility information
  6. Once the verification request is completed  you will receive a confirmation on-screen
  7. Once the customer completes their verification request they receive a confirmation on-screen
  8. The Identit-e Customer Service Team will review any manual transactions and approve, deny, or ask for additional information.
    1. Reviews are done within 24 hours maximum; usually within 1-2 hours
