Setting up dependencies between Quark Products

Setting up dependency between QLA and Platform Server as services can be achieved by ensuring that Platform Server is dependent on QLA. To achieve this, start a command prompt as an administrator, and type:

sc config QPPServer depend= "Quark License Administrator Server 4.5"

You can remove the dependency (if you need to in the future) with:

sc config QPPServer depend= /

(note, the space after depend= is required – also, if you want to depend on multiple services, separate them with a forward slash)
