How to move the Illustrator path in QuarkXPress?

Applies to- QuarkXPress 10.x and 2015

Solution:

  1. Copy the path in Illustrator
  2. Create new Photoshop document and invoke Paths palette
  3. Select Paste As Path in the Paste dialog. This will Paste the path into a new work path.
  4. Save the new work path.
  5. Then save the Photoshop document as Tiff image and import the same image in QuarkXPress
  6. Either use Measurement palette or Modify dialog box, navigate to Clipping Path
  7. Here select Embedded path as Type.
  8. Go to Item > Picture Box Shape From Path > New Box From Clipping Path
  9. Color and Style the new box created as per your requirement
