Applies to
QPP 2015, Windows 7, Windows 2008 Server
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Summary:
When the LDAP has been configured with Quark Publishing Platform; the user imported through LDAP should be able to login with domain credentials in the QPP server. However it throws an Error Username or Password is invalid and does not allow the user to Login. In the QPP Server logs it displays  error CLOCK SKEW IS GREAT
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Solution:
If the log states that the Clock Skew is great that implies that the System Time zone on which the QPP is installed is incorrect.

  1. Stop the Quark Publishing Platform Server from the services window.
  2. Select the correct time zone from Date and Time settings in the task bar.
  3. Also verify if the time is set correctly.
  4. Now restart the Quark Publishing Platform Server from the services window.
  5. Try to login with the domain credentials of the user imported through LDAP.
