Applies to-  QuarkXPress 10 ONLY,  Macintosh OS.

Solution:

  •  Take a backup of "com.quark.QuarkXPress.plist"
  • Close QuarkXPress 10
  • Go to ~/Library/Preferences/
  • After having made a backup, open the file com.quark.QuarkXPress.plist,( with a plist editor)
  • There are two entries that you can change, they are called:
    • NSToolTipsFont - string font name
    • NSToolTipsFontSize - number size
  • Edit the strings mentioned above as desired
