Unable to start QLA server through services

Affects: Windows

Background: QLA server can be launched either through windows services or through the icon available. When you run through the shortcut icon, it opens a control panel and shows the serial numbers, no of licenses, remaining licenses, server details and status. However, when it is run through services, it does not show or display the information like in QLA activity monitor. It runs in the background.

Solution: Check if the QLA.properties file has been replaced both on the Primary and the Backup server. If you have different version of license file on both servers, QLA will not launch.

Note: This can be checked by launching the QLA server through the launch icon. It must throw this error ”primary server and the backup server are running different version of license file. Kindly stop both the server and launch it again”.
