QuarkXPress 10 has modified Glyph pallet functionality. Here we understand that the Unicode value of a character can be used in different ways by different users and now Unicode values can be seen in the Glyphs Palette in QuarkXPress 10, which was not possible in previous version of QuarkXPress, so that you can use the Unicode value at your convenience.
