How to use Shapemaker in QuarkXPress 9.x

The new ShapeMaker feature in QuarkXPress 9 lets you create a wide variety of intricate and highly customizable shapes that can then be saved as presets. Real-time previews make it easy to see what you are creating as you develop original shapes from scratch or apply new shapes to existing boxes.

How it works:

    • To display the ShapeMaker dialog box, choose Utilities> ShapeMaker
    • Specify the shape that you want
    • Adjust settings such as phase, amplitude, orientation and more, with a real-time preview of your shape
    • Click Create

This will create the desired shape you want.
