Text overflow handling in QuarkCopyDesk and QuarkXPress

QuarkCopyDesk automatically adds a new page if necessary to display content for editing. In WYSIWYG view, if text overflows, a new page is created at the end of the article. However, in Galley view and Full Screen view, the Measurements palette contains a Depth field which can display the following statuses:

  • Underset
  • Fit
  • Overset (can only occur if the article was created in QuarkXPress)

In a standalone QuarkCopyDesk article, text moves to new page if necessary.
