QuarkXPress Server Manager 8.5 service fails to load

The option to install QuarkXPress Server Manager as a service is not available in the QuarkXPress Server Manager installer. To configure QuarkXPress Server Manager to run as a service after installation, navigate to the QuarkXPress Server Manager application folder and double-click the “service_install.bat” file. The service is listed as “tomcat.exe” in the Windows task manager.

By default, this service is configured as Manual, but you can set it to Automatic in the Services window. After you do so, restart the system with the same administrator account to verify that 'tomcat.exe' is listed in the Services window.

To remove QuarkXPress Server Manager from Services, double-click the “service_uninstall.bat” file in the QuarkXPress Server Manager application folder.
