How to Change the QLA Backup Server Time Limit

In QLA 4.01 the Backup server time limit was 5 days and could not be changed. Quark License Administrator 4.5 allows you to set the value up to 15 days. (with a Minimum of 1 day and a Default of 5 days). To change this value, follow these steps:

  1. Open the 'Failover.properties' file located in the Backup Server's QLA Server folder.
  2. Set the number of days you want the Backup Server to grant licenses on the BACK_UP_AGE_DAYS line of the 'Failover.properties' file.
