Upgrade from QPS 8.x to QPS 126.96.36.199.
If this fails to address your problem, and you are running in a network environment that supports 12-digit IP addresses, change the IP Address of the QuarkXPress Server machine to less than 12 digits .
If the IP address of the machine is 12 digits, QuarkXPress Server will crash unless you are running QPS Server 188.8.131.52.
