Font Substitution When PDF Is Generated through QuarkXPress Server

Copy the EPS files to the QuarkXPress Server Document Pool and ensure all fonts used within EPS files are loaded into the system of the QuarkXPress Server machine.

Background:
When a PDF rendering request for a QuarkXPress project is sent to QuarkXPress Server, the Server expects all assets attached to the QuarkXPress project to be accessible. In this case, since the attached assets reside in QPS, QuarkXPress Server is unable to access the attached asset. What QPS does when a rendering request is sent to QuarkXPress Server via WebHub is to make an API call to get all the attached assets and copy them to the QuarkXPress Server Document Pool and make the PDF request after the assets are copied. If one is using a third party application to send the rendering request using a web-based connection tool, the web application should write a similar instruction to QuarkXPress Server before the file is rendered.
