QuarkXPress 8.x does not install on Mac OS standard HFS drive

The only solution is to change the File System from HFS to HFS (Extended).

Background:
If the hard drive of your computer is formatted with an older scheme, such as HFS, QuarkXPress 8 cannot be installed. HFS (Hierarchical File System) was the primary file system format used on the Macintosh Plus and later models until Mac OS 8.1, when HFS was replaced by HFS Plus. In order to install QuarkXPress 8 as an Application, we needed to remove the Frameworks from the application bundle. At the same time, per Apple's guidelines, we are working toward a single application bundle concept. R&D and PM have decided not to fix this behavior because this file system is rarely used and not promoted by Apple any longer.
