Is activating a license different from registering a license?

Yes, activating a license is different from registering a license. License is mandatory if you want to use the full functionality of an application.According to our End user License aggrement ,end users who have purchased a single-user License may Install and Use the Software on two desktop computers for non-concurrent use only.The Activation process keeps a check on Software Piracy.

 

 

Product registration is optional and allows you to qualify for technical support, replace your program disks if they are lost or stolen, receive information about promotions and updaters as new versions are released.  The customer needs to register the serial number of QuarkXPress license with Quark (Online or by contacting customer care).
