How will the upgrade work in QuarkXPress 8 from Evaluation to Full version? Will the evaluation version need to be removed and then the full version be installed?

Correct. This will function in the same manner it did in version 7.  We are looking into the feasibility of addressing this sometime in the 8.x time frame.
