How to Specify the Range of Cells to be Imported from Excel Sheet in QuarkXPress

The Excel Import filter allows you specify the range of cells to be imported when you draw a Table object and link to the Excel spreadsheet. Follow the steps below to do so.

  1. Draw a Table with the Table tool.
  2. Select the Link to External Data checkbox.
  3. Click OK.
  4. Browse to the Excel file.
  5. Click Open.
  6. Under the Range field, type in the range of cells you want to import, e.g. A1:F24
  7. Click OK.
