Printing Process and Spot Colors to Separations from QuarkXPress

To print plates for all process and spot colors, follow these steps:

  1. With your project open and the layout you want to print selected, go to File > Print.
  2. Select the Colors pane in the Print dialog and set the mode to Separations. This option will not be available if you are not printing to a PostScript printer.
  3. Select “Composite CMYK & Spot” in the Setup popup menu.
  4. Click Print.
When you have made this selection, separate plate information for each process and spot color will be sent to the printer.

Note: For more information, please consult the QXP User Guide PDF file in your Documents folder located in the QuarkXPress folder.
