How do you view the Help files in a different language?

To view the QuarkXPress 8 or 9 Help files in the desired language, use one of the following procedures:

  • Mac OS:
Open the Language tab of the International pane of the System Preferences and drag the language of choice to the top of the list. Go back to the QuarkXPress application (you do not need to close the System Preferences panel) and go to Help > Help Topics.
  • Windows:
The Windows Installer installs only one help language file by default. So, the help file for the specific language you wish to view must be installed by the installer. This can be done during initial install or by running the installer again and choosing a custom install. This will provide options to install the help file(s) of your choice. Once this is done, you can then view a specific language help file by changing the QuarkXPress Program Language (Edit menu), then choosing Help > Contents.
