How to Import a Chart Into QuarkXPress

 Follow these steps to import a chart into QuarkXPress.

  1. Draw a Picture box.
  2. Go to Edit > Insert Object and from the list choose Microsoft Office Excel chart.
  3. Click OK.
  4. The chart will now open in Excel. You can change the type of chart depending on the requirement by going to Chart > Chart type in Microsoft Excel.
  5. Return to QuarkXPress. You will see the chart is displayed in the picture box.
You can also use the same procedure to import PowerPoint slides, wave sound files, and clips.
