Cannot Print in OSX Server / Open Directory Environment

Cannot Print in OSX Server / Open Directory Environment

To address both problems, create a Preferences folder directly inside the QuarkXPress application folder. The Preferences settings will then be saved and you will be able to print.

Background:
This issue can be traced to the same cause in OS X. In a Mac OSX Server / Open Directory setup, where the user accounts are stored on a network volume, non-Administrator user accounts do not have Read & Write permissions.
