How to Read Color Information from a Picture in QuarkXPress

Following are steps to use the Picture Effects feature to get color percentage information of image colors.

  1. Select the picture and open the Picture Effects palette (Window > Picture Effects)
  2. Apply any Picture Effect.
  3. Leave all settings for the effect as they are, and click OK.
  4. Click the on Info arrow at the bottom of the Picture Effects palette.
When you move your mouse over the picture, the RGB and CMYK color values are displayed in the Info area of the Picture Effects palette.
